  • Past 601’s (lawmakers) excuse for not delivering has been ” We did our best.”
  • Present 601’s (lawmakers) excuse for not delivering (yet); We are doing our best.”
  • Nepal Electricity Commission when asked for why continuing 12 hours a day and more electricity problem; ” We are doing our best.”
  • Nepal Government on why they can’t keep their promises after they  promise in just causes like “Adhikari couple case, Maina Sunuwar case, Sita Rai case, Sharada Bhusal jha and Dr Govinda Kc case” is that ” We are doing our best.”
  • Nepal Police can’t catch criminals who live freely. The usual reply, ” We are doing our best… “
  • Why is there no Truth and Reconciliation commision? “We are doing our best”
  • Why does Tribhuwan Airport Bathroom stink ?  “We are doing our best”.
  • Why is the Lazimpat-Budhanilkantha road still not finished after 24 months ? “We are doing our best”.

“We are doing our best” is the enemy of “We did it”. It shows one’s incompetency. Be careful of one who makes this excuse.

Networks of Hope

Nepal needs networks of “hope” to counter the network of hopelessness that prevails in our society.

“Opportunity creating Network” We need a network of “hopeful” Nepali who want to create opportunities right here so that we can counter network of Nepali who believe that the only way to find opportunities is to leave our home, leave our city and leave our country.

“Rapid reaction Network”: We need a network of “hopeful” Nepali who stand against political corruption in institutions to counter the nexus of corrupt business, politicians and thugs who benefit from our silence.

“Career counseling Network”: We need a network of ‘successful’ Nepali who give the right career advice to counter the culture that advocates its brightest to study abroad (and tries to stop them from coming back by spreading negativity about Nepal)

“Civil society Network” We need a network of ‘hopeful’ professionals who  know they need to cross professional boundaries to solve anything. Only this unity can counter our toxic culture where we expect  for e.g, hospital problems solved only by medical practitioners ; justice problems by only lawyers or education problem by only teachers, or law/order problem solved only by the police.

महंगी – तपाईँले बुझ्नै पर्ने कुरो ! – Inflation (price rise) is destroying Nepal.

अहिले नेपालमा महंगी १० % भन्दा बढिले अाक्कासिदैँछ हरेक बर्ष । यो १०% महंगी भनेको के हो त हामी साधारण नागरिकले बुझ्ने भाषामा भन्दा ?
२ गुणा =  (७० / ..% बृद्धि ) बर्ष
(माने कुनै पनि कुरा दोब्बर हुन कत्ति बर्ष लाग्छ भन्ने निकाल्नको लागि ७० लाई जति %ले बढिरहेको छ त्यसले भाग लगाउने ( सरल ! )
भनेपछि यदि हाम्रो महंगी १०% ले बढेको छ भने  २ गुणा = ७० / १० % बृद्धि हुन्छ =  ७ बर्षमा

यो भनेको हेरक ७ बर्षमा समानको भाउ समग्रमा दोब्बर हुन्छ (दुई गुणा) नेपालमा ! यानि कि…

सन २०१३ मा यदि नुनको भाउ  रु १०० थियो भने:
( ७ बर्षमा )सन २०२० मा नुनको भाउ : रु २००
( १४ बर्षमा ) सन २०२७ मा नुनको भाउ : रु ४००
( २१ बर्षमा ) सन २०३४ मा नुनको भाउ: रु ८००

भने पछि अबको २० बर्षमा सरसर्ति यस्तै गतिले जाने हो भने हाम्रो कुनै पनि समानको भा़उ ८ गुनाले बढ्छ । तयार हुनु होस्!

देखिने पाप र नदेखिने महा-पाप बिच चलिरहेछ डक्टर केशीको राजनितिक भागबन्डा बिरुद्धको अामरण अनसनको द्वन्द।

— देखिने पाप: अस्पतालका संकटकाल सेवा (emergency) मात्र खोलेर अरु सेवामा गरेका अांशिक वा कुनैमा पुरै बन्द गरिईएको परिस्थिित। (यसको हल चाँडै हुन्छ)

— नेदेखिने महा-पाप: स्वास्थ्यमा राजनितक भागबन्डाले भ्रष्टाचार निम्त्याएर डक्टरहरुलाई कामै गर्न लाज लाग्ने वा वाक्क-दिक्क पार्ने वातावरण बनाएको। स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र धराशायी बनाईयो हेर्दा हेर्दै – भित्र भित्रै !
जस्तो कि:

√ एउटा डक्टर नेपालमा पढ्न (MBBS +MD+specialization) १ करोड पर्ने बाध्यताको व्यापार गर्ने माफियालाई साथ दिन छोड्नु पर्छ राजनितिक दलहरुले। अब धनी मात्र पढ्न पाउने स्थिति बनाईदिए !
√ भागबन्डाको अाधारमा नियुक्ति, बढावा गर्न थाले । योग्यतामुखि संस्कारको धज्जा उड्डयाईयो। चाकडी, हुकुमी शासनको कुसंस्कार भित्रियो।
√ राजनितिक नियुक्ति गरेर गुणस्तर नपुगी पनि मेडिकल कलेज खोल्न मिल्ने सम्बन्धनको (affiliation) बातावरण बनाएर।
√ अहिले हुन लागेको ४ वटै मेडिकल कलेज काठमाडौँ उपत्यका भित्रै छ सुगम ठाँउमा। यहि रोक्न खोज्दा पहिलेको योग्यता पुगेका डिनलाई मानसिक यातना दिई राजिनामा दिन लगाईयो।

√ कुरा घुमीफिरि भागबन्डाको राजनितिक कु-संस्कार नै हो।
यसलाई जडै बाट ननिकाले हाम्रो भविष्य (स्वास्थ्य) अन्धारै छ।

कठै बिचरा ! नराम्रो काम गर्नेलाई सहानुभूति दिने कु-संस्कार

एउटा कुसंस्कारको कुरो गरौँ !

नराम्रो काम गर्ने “शक्ति” वानलाई “कठै बिचरा!” सहानुभूति दिने कु-संस्कार के हामी भित्र पनि छ?
हामीले हाम्रो समाजमा भ्रष्टहरु के “कठै” ‘बिचरा’ त भन्दैछैनौँ ?  एक चोटी सोचौँ है:

१) भुकम्पले हजारौँको ज्यान जाँदा नि बालमतलब दिने नेतृत्वलाई  “बिचरा नेतृत्व! (निरिह)”
२) भ्रष्टाचारमा सजाय पाँउदा: बिचरा मन्त्री (त्यै मात्र फसेँछ)
३) कुनै ईस्टमित्रले घुस खादाँ तीनलाई जेल चलान हुँदा: बिचरा ईस्टमित्र ( ब्याड लक)
४) “कामै गर्न दिएनन् शिर्षले”! गुनासो पोख्दै ६०१ सांसद: बिचरा सांसद…
५) द्वन्द-संक्रमण आदिको निँउमा निर्दोषलाई हत्या गर्नेलाई समात्दा: बिचरा योद्धा
६) बर्षौँ सम्म नियम मिचेर घर बनाई बसेकाका घरै भत्किउदाँ : बिचरा घरबेटी
७) रक्सीले टिल भई भिरबाट खसाली यात्रु मार्ने ड्राईभरलाई: बिचरा ड्राईभर
८) दिनहुँ ४ कामदारका लाश कफिनमा फर्कदा चुप लागि बस्ने सरकार: बिचरा सरकार
९) नाकाबन्दीको बेला ईन्धन कालोबजारी गर्दै समातिँने, बिचरा चारपैसा कमाउन आँट्या व्यवसायी
