This message, written by an unknown, at a 48 hunger strike by college students at Patan Durbar Square, to pressure our rulers to act on building the Nepali constitution and bring corrupt to justice in Nepal.

नेपालका शासकहरुबाट १० प्रश्नको जवाफ चाहियो हामीलाई !

हे नेपाल चलाउन शासकहरु,

तपाईँहरुले शासन चलाएको अब त धेरै नै समय भो। तपाईँ मध्य कसैको ५ त कसैको १० अझै कसैको त १५ -२० बर्ष नि भैसक्यो होईन? पञ्चायत पनि गन्ने हो भने त कसैको त जुगौँ न पुगी सक्यो।  अब तपाईहरुबाट नेपाली जनताले केहि ठोस प्रश्नका जवाफ खोजेका छन्।

  1. यदि ३ वा ४ जनाले नै सबै-सधैँ कुरो मिलाउने हो भने ६०१ सभासद (सांसद) लाई नेपाली जनताले पालेको के काम?
  2. किन लोकतन्त्र/ प्रजातन्त्रको कुरा गर्छौ जब आफ्नै पार्टीमा आफ्ना सभासदलाई संसदमा तपाँईले भने झैँ  मात्र भोट हाल्न विप जारी गर्छौ? जनताले चुनेको मान्छे आफुखुसी भोट हाल्ने अधिकार किन खोस्छौ संसद भित्रै?
  3. किन पारदर्शिताको कुरा गर्छौ जब आफै लुकाउछौ आफ्नो पार्टी चलाउने स्रोत वा चन्दा? किन बोल्दैनौँ कसरी ति कार्यकर्ताहरुलाई पाल्नु हुन्छ?
  4. किन अरु देशसगँ हात जोडी भिख माग्छौँ अनि बैदेशिक हस्तक्षेप मुर्दाबाद भनि सडक तताँउछौँ ? ( एक तिहाई नेपाली अर्थतन्त्र बैदेशिक सहायतामै भरेको बजेट बनाउदैँ हिँडेका छौँ)
  5. किन ‘लोकतान्त्रिक’ सरकारले काम गर्ने स्वाबलम्बी नेपालीलाई मान्छे गन्दैन? बिदेश गई पठाएका पैसाले नै यो अर्थतन्त्र धानिएको थाहा हुँदा हुँदै किन विदेशआउने-जाने कामदारको बिमानस्थलमा हने बेईज्जती, लुट्ने प्रवृति हावी छ?
  6. किन ‘युवा देशको भविश्य हो’ भन्दै भाषण छाँटछौँ जब कि सर्वविधितै छ ‘हामी युवा देशको वर्तमान नै हौँ ‘? ( ७५% नेपालीहरु ४० बर्ष भन्दा मुनिका छौँ क्यारे)
  7. किन बागमती – बिष्णुमती गनाई देशको लाज बनेको छ

When you say, It is none of my concern के मतलब !

  • “When a poor Nepali lost his dignity in the long lines waiting for a passport to go work abroad, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I already have a comfortable job here.”
  • When a young woman lost her freedom, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I am not a woman.”
  • When a journalist gets thrashed, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I don’t write or talk publicly.”
  • When a policeman’s family gets death threats, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I don’t work for the government.”
  • When a Madhesi loses his identity as a Nepali, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I am not a Madhesi.”
  • When an entrepreneur who employs hundreds of Nepalis gets kidnapped, you said, “It has nothing to do with me, I don’t run any business.”

And when they came after everyone, one after another – one day they will knock on your door. At that moment, there won’t be anyone left to speak for you anymore.

Unaccountable leadership and Irresponsible Citizens.
We are stealing our future from us.


Are you doing or just talking-suggesting-supporting ?

In any social media platform like Facebook, there are various actions you can do.

• If someone wrote on their wall, on how some-one is to blame for the country’s problem, maybe 100 will reply back… (I term this ‘Talking‘)

• If some one wrote on their wall, asking for advice on what to do next ? 20 people will reply back with comments (This is ‘Suggesting‘)

• If someone wrote on their wall, asking for others to join an event they organized to protest, fewer than 5 people would reply back saying either they will, or won’t. (this is ‘Supporting‘)

• If some one actually turns up for the event in person, after seeing this on your Facebook wall, that’s what I call ‘DOING‘ !

So are you going to just talk, suggest, support or actually DO ?
What action are you going take today ?
