How to find some-one’s strengths (talent)? कसैको प्रतिभा थाहा पाउनको लागि ५ सुत्र

To a new person, instead of asking, “what do you do?” why don’t you ask “what do you love to do?”

Five Clues to finding a person’s Talent:

Yearning:

To find out the person’s “Yearning”, Ask, “What do you know you can do well, but haven’t yet done?” or, “If you had an entire week of your calendar open up and couldn’t work on previous commitments, what would you spend your time doing?”

Satisfaction:

To help learn what gives others satisfaction, Ask, “What sorts of activities do you finish and think, ‘I can’t wait to do that again’?” or, “What are you doing (at work or at play) when you’re truly enjoying yourself?”

Rapid Learning:

To shed light on these pathways, consider asking about a person’s learning. “What have you done well that you didn’t need explained?” or, “What activities do you execute naturally, but struggle to break down into steps for others?”

Glimpses of Excellence

Find out their glimpses of excellence by asking, “What have other people told you you’re great at doing?” or, “In your previous experience, what were you known for doing well?”

 Total Performance Excellence

He does not make himself known, and so he is noticed.

“Tao Te King” by Lao Tsu
Some extracts:

He who knows others is wise.
He who knows himself is illuminated.
He who defeats others is strong.
He who defeats himself is powerful.
He who knows happiness is rich.
He who keeps his path is willful.

Be humble and you will become whole.
Bend and you will become straight.
Empty yourself and you will become full.
Wear yourself out and you will become new.

The wise man does not show off, and so he shines.
He does not make himself known, and so he is noticed.
He does not praise himself, and so he has merit.
And because he does not compete,
none in the world can compete with him.

You may have the right to vote but you may not be able to afford to vote in Nepal

In the next elections, we face a major problem in Nepal. Why ?
Because while most of us have the right to vote, many of us won’t be able to afford it. Yes you heard it right ! You can’t afford to vote. Let me present my case.

too expensive to vote

1) You are right now far from your village or town. Most of us have migrated to another city or town in #Nepal to study, to work, to look for jobs or start a business. Too bad, the current law requires that you can only vote from where you registered, so too bad if you can’t afford to go back to your village or town. Take an example of my friend, Ang Raj from Jumla. He is in Kathmandu now trying to start a social business that makes products from remote places like Jumla find market in Kathmandu. To go back to Jumla to vote, he has to pay Rs, 22,000 to take a plane to go up to Jumla and vote,
