Follow the bright spots in Nepal

I believe, small forms of positive united acts like “Actively supporting a positive action”, helps bring people together from all corners of the world. In Nepal where we focus on negativity and complaining, one possible solution might be to follow the bright spots and acknowledge it.

Here is a video of Chief Justices of Nepal thanking Facebook activists from all over the world who supported Nepali Supreme Court’s bold actions against corruption in Government of Nepal.

It was a result of 4,668 Nepalis and friends rallying together to send a “simple thank you” letter encouraging the Supreme Court of Nepal to keep doing its noble job.

“Small acts focusing on bright spots help bring together citizens enabling change. Technology shrinks the effort needed in bringing random citizens together.”

५ खर्ब भित्र्याउनेलाई यस्तो व्यवहार ?

हामीले  ५ खर्ब रुपैयाँ (३ बर्ष अघि यो लेख पहिले लेख्दा ३ खर्ब ५० अर्ब थियो) नेपाल पठाउने हाम्रा नेपाली लगानीकर्तालाई जब कदर गर्न जान्नेछौं, तब मात्र बाँकी संसारले नेपालमा लगानी गर्नेछन् ।

एक तथ्यान्क अनुसार बिदेशमा काम गर्ने नेपालीहरुले हरेक वर्ष करिब ५ खर्ब रुपैयाँ ( ३ बर्ष अघि यो लेख पहिले लेख्दा ३ खर्ब ५० अर्ब थियो) नेपाल पठाउँछन् । यदि यसो हो भने नेपालमा लगानीको रुपमा बिदेशीहरुले भित्र्याउने भन्दा यो करिब पाँच गुणा बढी हुन आँउछ। यीनै ठुला लगानीकर्ताहरुबाट नेपालको करिब एक तिहाइ अर्थतन्त्र धानिएको छ। तैपनि हामी यी कामदार दाजु भाइ, दिदी बहिनीहरुलाई कुकुर सरह व्यवहार गर्छौँ ।

1. Always swallow your pride to say you’re sorry. Being too proud to apologize is never worth it — your relationship suffers for no good benefit.

2. Possessions are worse than worthless — they’re harmful. They add no value to your life, and cost you everything. Not just the money required to buy them, but the time and money spent shopping for them, maintaining them, worrying about them, insuring them, fixing them, etc.

3. Slow down. Rushing is rarely worth it. Life is better enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
